Arq. Ileana Dominguez
Ileana Dominguez has been with Young & de la Sota Architects since 2001. Her responsibilities have involved design and administration of custom homes, residential projects, master plans and interiors in Guanica, Culebra, Caguas, San Juan, Guaynabo, Rio Grande, and Tortola, BVI. She is currently working on Caguas Courtyard Community Housing, Plaza Bellas Artes, Villa Mi Terruño and the estates at Trump International Resort at Coco Beach - Empresas Diaz.
Prior to joining YSA, Ms. Dominguez worked on the Master Plan of the Caguas Arts District and Government Center, the UPR Sports Complex Master Plan and was a guest member of the research team for the Historic St. Augustine Preservation Board, in Florida.
Her Master Thesis Research work focused on the Creation of the Urban Guidelines for Community Spaces extending outside of the Tren Urbano Stations in San Juan. She was a winner of the Hillel Foundation’s Sukkah competition, and a finalist for the FLAD Scholarship for the 2000 ACSA U.S. Embassy for the New Millennium Competition.
Ms. Dominguez received her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design from the University of Puerto Rico and graduated from the University of Florida with a Master’s Degree in Architecture. She is a member of the College of Architects of Puerto Rico.
Ileana is licensed to practice architecture in Puerto Rico.
