Wildhorse Country Club

Napa, California (1992)

Inspired by the Awahnee Hotel in Yosemite. The Jack Nicklaus and Robert Trent Jones Golf Clubhouses were designed with resort-like amenities. With heavy timber, massive stone hearths, high ceilings and deep porches, these two clubhouses, one private, one public, offer unparalleled amenities on 3,000 picturesque acres located east of Napa Valley.

Both the private Jack Nicklaus Clubhouse and public Robert Trent Jones Clubhouse contain a grill, main lounge, dining room, private function rooms, tournament hall, pro shop and locker rooms. With expansive views and two premier golf courses, Wildhorse Valley is a planned recreational retreat. At least one YSA principal participated as design architect,  supervising architect and/or designer while associated with the architect-of-record for this project.
