Facade and Typical Plan
This project was a rehabilitation and seismic upgrade of an existing unreinforced hotel in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District. The single room
occupancy housing is operated by a non-profit community organization.
The project facilitated an apprenticeship program to teach construction skills. A new roof deck was added as well as interior improvments, including new kitchens and bathrooms.
