Bixler Music and Art Building

Colby College, Waterville, Maine (1990)

Site Plan

This project expands and renovates Colby facilities for art and music with the introduction of a new wing attached to the Bixler Music and Art Center. Included in the program is a new museum for art, a new library exhibition space and areas for storage. A new entrance to the complex incorporates a ramp system as part of the proposed new walk leading to the building.

An alternate entrance tucked between the Art Studio Building and Given Auditorium. At least one YSA principal participated as design architect, supervising architect and/or senior designer while associated with the architect-of-record for this project.
