111 Huntington Avenue is a cornerstone of the master plan for the southern portion of the Prudential Center complex. It bolsters the development’s identity as a major commercial district. The faceted 30-story office tower is a vertical marker that connects to the winter garden. The aluminum and glass tower has a circular plan that works to mediate the convergence of two major urban grids that define Boston's Back Bay and South End. The tower’s chiseled form results in 20 corners that allow for a large number of perimeter offices. A YSA principal contributed to the conceptual design for this project.
